Mostly it is that I want to remember how to use photoshop, I suppose.
The other thing that I want to accomplish (for no good reason) has to do with creative commons licenses. There's great stuff on flickr that people grant blanket rights for anyone to use for anything requiring only that you give them credit for the original photo. One of the luxuries of not going to art school is that nobody is telling me that I must only draw from life, so I will draw based on these photos and credit the owners, and sometimes I will trace them but I won't admit it.
This is my overly ambitious collection of poses, clothes and textures that I feel I cannot conjure from my head, but that should get in there anyways.

Time has passed, but I haven't outgrown this kind of pointless behavior. At least I am not posting writing here any more, and I will tell you why: It isn't impossible to get people to pay you for your writing, but it is impossible if some version of that writing was already available for free on a website like this, even if nobody saw it. So now, I just show stuff to close friends and send it to publishers (and people that fool me into thinking that they are publishers that want to sell my email address.) This website also isn't really a writer's community, and critiques are all about respect and trust (and taste,) and sorry DA, but we just don't have that for each other.

Here's the article I made on your entrie about my contest!

Hope you will like it^^!
